Today I got up bright and early so I wouldn’t have to rush out the door to the shelter. We got there in good time. For so early in the day I was surprised to see so many people there! They were all busy, rushing left and right carrying food and walking dogs outside. I love it there because everybody says good morning when you walk by them. We got to work, but it went by rather quickly. It is because there were so many people there helping in the cat room. There were two new cats there today. One had brown and gold fur that looked like it was slapped onto his slim body. The other was shaped the same but had grey fur like a silver ring. When the cats were clean and happy, mom and I went to do some dishes. It’s not my favorite job since there is the occasional ‘feces markings’ on the litter boxes and water bowls. One other problem is that if you don’t finish the dishes fast enough, more dirty ones get put next to you when you don’t even know it. I did manage to get two loads done, which is a good amount of work. I only have two sessions left, boy did it feel like a long time!
